Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When I'm file-browsing using the fish-protocol it would totally awesome if, when I press F4, a konsole opens that ssh to the place that I'm browsing. I other words, opens a ssh connection and goes to the directory that I'm browsing through a regular ssh command. Dolphin already knows the address, username, password, directory and the ssh certificate that the user has accepted.
This would indeed be a really lovely addition to Dolphin. Please implement this! Thanks!
How is it coming along? Pascal
KDE now supports ssh://hostname urls. E.g. open krunner and write ssh://yourRemoteServer and you will be sent there. It asks for password, but this could dolphin simply provide and we would have automatic remote login. Please implement this. it would rock awesomely!!!!

The problem is still present. It seems to me that fixing it now should be easier, with kiofuse implemented. It can be opened not a remote directory, but mounted, for example /run/user/1000/kio-fuse-.../smb/.../
