Works fine for me using KDE 4.3.0 on windows XP
Using kde 4.3.2 still gives me the problem. However I'm using Windows Vista now. When deleting, dolphin tells me in the statusbar that it couldn't delete the file. However it is deleted and not present anymore. Using F5, the file disappears.
I've run into this problem when deleting files (but not directories): If you try to delete one or more files it will show an error in the status bar that it couldn't delete the file(s). All of the files will appear present until you refresh when it reveals that the first file in the list to be deleted really did get deleted, but the rest will still be there. On the other hand I've had no issues deleting directories. Windows XP, same results in all versions of KDE that I remember trying this on (most relatively stable versions up to and including 4.4.1). Affects both VS and MingW compiler versions (I'd used VS compiler versions up to 4.3.4, MingW for 4.4.0 and 4.4.1)
Still present in 4.5.4 (MinGW4 compiler - haven't tried with the VS compilers)
