Description Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-03-21 10:11:33 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I noticed that dolphin doesn't save folder view for folders on fat partition.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open dolphin. Probably your home folder will open which might be on etx3 partition.
2. Change view mode to details or columns.
3. Go to some other folder.
4. Come back to previous folder.
5. Now go to some folder on fat partition.
6. Change view mode to columns or details.
7. Go to some other folder.
8. Come back to folder on FAT partition.

Actual result:
When folder is on ext3 or ntfs partition, dolphin remembers view. When we come back to folder where we changed the view, we can see that new view. But when same is done on FAT partition, it always opens default icon view.

Expected result:
Dolphin should remember view mode for all folders regardless of physical partition type.
