Description Mathieu Jobin 2009-03-09 17:40:13 UTC
Version: 0.8 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-server

I have a friend who wanted to move the "Development" sub group under "Utilities".

kmenuedit will not present any error and simply do the work.
but after you save and close kmenuedit.

the "Development" submenu will still be at the root.

open kmenuedit again, an empty "Development" dir has been created under "Utilities" and the original is at the original place.

delete the new empty dir and repeat operations.

Utilities will now contains a "Development-2" directory

delete it again, repeat the operations and the new dir will be created "Development-3" and so on ...

Tracked in 227836 where I proposed a patch for the move of folders with different name than existing folders in the target folder.
