Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs As a work around to bug #184879 I have configured one panel for each monitor, and I have added a "Task manager" to each panel. I attempted to configure the task manager to only list the tasks that appear on each respective screen -- windows on the right, only appear on the right task manager, and those on the left screen, on the left task manager. To do so I have selected the "Only show tasks from the current screen" option. Instead of having the expected result (as described above) the result is backwards -- tasks from the *left* screen appear on the *right* task manager, and the tasks from the *right* screen appear on the *left* task manager.

Got the same issue here. I created a 2nd panel with a Task Manager plasmoid in it, both with the option "Only show tasks from the current screen", but they display the programs from the other screen. Using the current kde4.2 experimental for Ubuntu 8.10., on a Intel 945GM video card (latest Ubuntu xserver-xorg-video-intel driver package).
can you confirm this with 4.3?
Sorry I didn't update my previous comment earlier. The multiple screen with multiple taskbars has been working properly for me in Kubuntu 9.04 (which is using KDE 4.2.2).
In Fedora 11 (whatever version that has) it works... mostly. sometimes a new window will appear on both task bars, but dragging it from one screen to the other corrects that, and the error does not return.
this seems to work quite nice with 4.3, closing it for now. reopen if there is a objection
