Description Tristan Miller 2009-02-26 14:55:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Reproducibility: Always

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open K Menu; the Favourites tab should come up first. Note how the entries are in no particular order.
2. Right-click and select "Sort Alphabetically (A to Z)". The entries become sorted alphabetically.
3. Log out.
4. Log back in again.
5. Open K Menu again.

Observed behaviour:
6. The entries in the Favourites tab are back to their original, unsorted state.

Expected behaviour:
6. The entries in the Favourites tab should have remained sorted alphabetically.

Possibly this is related to Bug 182015, which also deals with the persistence of plasma settings.

In which version of KDE has this been fixed? I'm still experiencing this bug with KDE 4.2.4.
