Description Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2009-02-24 07:53:04 UTC
Version:           1.11.0 (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

I just configured my gmail account as disconnected imap in kmail. I have lot of folders in my account. When kmail starts scanning mails, it does it in alphabetical order so I don't get new mail arrived to inbox immediately as its turn comes after a long time after scanning many other folders. I think regardless of folders, the inbox should be scanned first for the new mails when kmail tries to synchronize with server.

Here using:

Qt: 4.5.0 + qt-copy-patches-936035
KDE: 4.2.68 (KDE 4.2.68 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090327))
kdelibs svn rev. 949645 / kdebase svn rev. 949645
kmail svn rev. 949046 ( KMail: 1.11.90 )
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.28.8

I can confirm this

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 7 Ruchir Brahmbhatt 2012-08-19 04:12:30 UTC
Actually kmail2 has totally broken since I upgraded to 4.8 and somehow I'm not able to use gmail account with it at all. I'll get a chance to reconfigure when I install new OS and then will be able to confirm about this bug.
