Description Shriramana Sharma 2009-02-20 07:56:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hello. I am filing this as a bug and not a wishlist because it is a loss of functionality which was existing in KDE 3.

In KDE 3, if there is text in the clipboard, and I press Ctrl V or right-click paste in a Konqueror window showing a folder, it would create a text file in that folder with the contents being the text in the clipboard.

However as of KDE 4 this is no longer the case.

Please re-include this functionality as it was very useful to quickly save text to files.

I am now using KDE 4.2 on Kubuntu Jaunty updated till 2009-02-20.

Sorry for the dup. I do always search before reporting new, but somehow I don't seem to strike on the proper keywords.
