Description Leonid Grinberg 2009-02-19 05:02:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

I have keyboard repeat enabled in both xorg.conf and the systemsettings Keyboard module. However, sometimes, and quite spontaneously, it gets disabled -- keyboard repeating fails and if I go to systemsettings, it's unchecked. I find no correlation between suspend and this. Applications that I generally always have on, and which *might* cause it (but that seems weird) are Firefox, Konsole, and Pidgin. I also have kicker and stuff. This is an, essentially vanilla 4.2.0 install on Arch Linux.

I have the same issue. On my side it seems to be connected to running Synergy (http://synergy2.sf.net). Whenever I move my mouse from my desktop (Synergy server) to my laptop (Synergy client) it resets the Keyboard Repeat setting.
