Description Petr Vanek 2009-01-13 08:52:10 UTC
Version:            (using Devel)
Compiler:          gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.3.1 20080507 (prerelease) [gcc-4_3-branch revision 135036]gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.3.1 20080507 (prerelease) [gcc-4_3-branch revision 135036]
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

When I add a "System Monitor" into plasma-desktop it shows its information pretty fine. Then I lock widgets. Logoff-Logon. Then there is the SM plasmoid distorted in display (see screenshot).

I can repair this display issue with Unlock widgets/resize SM a bit/Lock it again sequence.

SM widget is repaired sometims itself - after undeterministic amount of time (I've seen it 1st time writting this report).

subzero@mojo-jojo:~> kde4-config --version
Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101)) "release 78.2"

I think it can be more related/duplicate of bug 178469. What do you think ?
Comment 4 Marco Martin 2009-01-13 21:25:00 UTC
yes, is the same problem, applet moving is forbidden in itemChanged when widgets are locked
