Description Andy 2009-01-07 17:24:50 UTC
Version: 1.10.92 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Kubuntu 8.10
KDE 4.2 Beta 2
Kontact 1.3
Kmail 1.10.92

I love the new tabs in Kmail, but my problem is that I have multiple sub-folders tabs opened at the same time that are all named "inbox". Therefore, it is non-trivial to switch to the correct tab when I want to view a specific account's inbox.

I would like to be able to set a title/label for the tab in the "Properties" dialog. Currently there is a field to change the name of the folder, but it is correctly disabled for each inbox. There should be a separate field called "Tab Label" and then whatever you put in there will be used in the tabs. If the field is empty, then it should default to just the sub-folder name.

It is important that this option is persistent, as I do not want to have to change the title every time I start kmail.
