This is probably related to bug 176916 (crash in file dialogs related to filters, (when typing jp*g .. the filter changes) If you can reproduce the crash at will, can you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace here? The debug symbols are missing (look at the "(no debugging symbols found) " messages). The backtrace can be even more complete, detailing the source code lines and functions. And since you are using Fedora you need to install the debuginfo packages (at least the "kdelibs-debuginfo" pkg). You need to do "debuginfo-install kdelibs" Thanks
