Version: 2.0 (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages In v2.0 it's not possible to change the language of the wikipedia widget into another language. Problem has been proved in IRC (#amarok) by others. KDE language settings should be followed.
This is definitely an issue, but not an easy fix. We'll keep it in mind! Thanks for the report.
This is definitely a problem, but it's not a bug. It's simply not implemented. Reclassifying as wish.

Yeah, now Wikipedia is localized, but if i want to read the english version what can i do? Unfortunately italian version is not too rich, so many artist have not their italian wiki page or, if they have it, it's only a stub. Please, give us the possibility to choice what wikipedia version we want to read.

Actually i prefer to have possibility to choose the favorite language. Sometimes the page of the artist exists, but is just a stub. And it would be also great if wikipedia applet could also show the page of the album, just as amarok 1.4 did.
Yes, it would be nice, if one could change the language of the Wikipedia widget. Native pages sometimes are not as rich as the english or they do not even exist.
Done in svn. User can now select a preferred language. And default is auto-detecting as usual. Some feedback welcome, do not hesitate to send some stuff here :)

Actually now i've noticed these small vertical stripes too; but are less visible than your picture's and they are green.
Ah ok, so it may be related to kde4.3 IconWidget I'll have a look closer. Thanks for helping :)
