Version: (using KDE 4.1.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Currently, Dolphin shows a list of mounted volumes in the "Places" pane of the application. However, unlike other items in this pane, the context menu does not allow for renaming of the volumes. All other items in the pane allow themselves to be edited. Even performing an alias that would be recognized only within Dolphin would be nice, but ideally I'd like to see Dolphin be able to change the actual volume name. Also, the Places pane does not have tooltips for the entries, which makes it especially troublesome for identifying which volume of 7 is the one you actually want. A tooltip that displays the mount point for the volume would be a nice touch.

Created attachment 34993 [details] Screenshot which show the problem The attached screenshot shows the usability problem that I'm facing. Compare the "places" section of Dolphin and Nautilus. In Nautilus, when no label is available, partition size is shown. This helps me a lot as opposed to showing 8 entries with the "Volume (ext3)" label.
I am using Kubuntu 11.10 with KDE 4.8, Dolphin 2.0. The bug is resolved, it displays partition size. And it actually got solved long time ago.
Thanks Moraru for the feedback!
