Description Nick Stuart 2008-10-29 18:59:35 UTC
Version: 2.0-SVN (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Cooker) for x86_64)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-server-0.rc8.2mnb

Having a file or folder with a bracket in it wont play. It does add to the collection and play list fine, and looks normal, but it just wont play.

Trying to open the file results in no actions or response. No errors are displayed it just doesn't play the file. I renamed the files to remove the brackets and everything works fine after a rescan.

Just as a note, a lot of the files that have [] in them have come from Amazons MP3's. They worked fine in older kde3 amarok (although I can't find a specific version I was using).

Oh, and just one more note, the id3 tags don't affect this at all. All of that still has brackets in them and it works fine. This is just related to file and directory names.
