Version: 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2) (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Gentoo) Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-gentoo Hi, I use Konqueror 4.1.2, I know I can change the user agent settings in the config dialog, but what about the user agent button that was present in the KDE 3 series ? Seems like this feature has been removed. I found it very useful. Is it planned to be restored in a future version ? Same thing for the 'filter' action button in the file list view mode. I know there is the 'group files' option, but you cannot set multiple filters. Thanks
The user agent button is not missing. It is a plugin (it always was). Please install konq-plugins. About the filter button, I am not sure what this is (I've probably never used it), but I think this should be filed as a wish against dolphin, as konqueror now uses dolphin's part to show files.
Hi, Thanks you for the quick reply. I'm using gentoo, and there is a konq-plugins package, but its latest version is 3.5.10. Does the package have another name in KDE 4 ? For the filter button, here is a screenshot (last button on toolbar) http://www.osugisakae.com/writings/lin2winxp/images/kde-split-views.jpg When you click it, a menu of current file types appear with checkboxex, you can select files to view.

I don't know, and moreover, this is no place to ask this kind of questions. > For the filter button, here is a screenshot (last button on toolbar) > http://www.osugisakae.com/writings/lin2winxp/images/kde-split-views.jpg > > When you click it, a menu of current file types appear with checkboxex, you can > select files to view. Ok, I understand now. So, I am reassigning this wish to dolphin, as konqueror has nothing to do with it anymore.
About the dirfilter plugin, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168254. This bug should probably be marked as a dupe of that.
