Description S. Burmeister 2008-10-21 09:46:58 UTC
Version: 2.0 svn (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

The default size of the plasma pane is too narrow for displaying the song's title for a lot of my music. Same for the albums plasmoid etc.

For the title this would not be an issue if it was displayed in the upper part, i.e. above the "time bar" where there is currently only a lot of unused space.

However, it might also make sense to open the collection/playlist etc. panes only if one needs them and collapse them afterwards. If one does so, the plasma-pane is wide enough, yet the panes' state is not saved, i.e. the next time I open amarok, e.g. the collection-pane is open again, although it was closed when amarok quit.
