Version: (using KDE 4.1.2) Installed from: Fedora RPMs I'd like to continue reading RSS feeds when leaving my desktop to travel or sitting on couch. But if I do it now, I'll be wading through the same article topics at desktop when I come back. So it should be possible to write a plugin for http://opensync.org/ to sync the read article status between my reader devices. I was told at irc://irc.freenode.org/akregator/ that it's not possible now, I should parse the actual files in file system. Would it be possible to add provide the information via dbus[1]? If it's been planned for Akonadi I would still prefer to have some simple access to it anyway. [1] http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/dbus
Bug #106424 handles the same basic need, but suggests completely different approach, additionallty storing remotely the score data.
Hello, I like to develop a plasmoid. It should work like a RSS-Queue. Only one news presented at the same time. With a "X" it should be able to mark it as read. A direct klick should open Konqueror with the specific URL. I don't like to care my RSS-News twice, too. I want to be able to get new Feeds from Akregator with informations like subject and URL. (or a complete list with mark state) I also want to mark it as read via dbus. I already searched the source code of Akregator for the line where dbus registration is defined. Only the function for listing feeds I've found. Can somebody told me where I can find it, please? Thanks a lot!
