With a current trunk version I get a nicely squeezed 'Search for "K Desktop Envir..." with Google' entry. Mayb this is simply fixed since 4.1.2?
Are you using a specific widget style?
Oh, or maybe this happens when the text to search contains a newline. That is something I fixed recently with simplifiedSelectedText indeed...
That was r826895 in 4.1 branch, for bug 113177, in July. But that fix is in 4.1.2 then...
Harri: Did you load my viewing profile? Konqui has quite a few issues when I use that.. David: No, I am not
Yes. I used your profile and got all those tabs. Did you try whether the problem also occurs without your profile if you visit the same site in a single tab?
It only occurs when I use my view. If it does not occur with the anonymized view, i am somewhat SOL. Although there is nothing secret in it, I would still prefer not to disclose my web habits to the internet at large. I would be willing to send the file to people directly, though. Provided that they don't distribute it themselves, for any reason. Any takers?
Cannot reproduce with either one of the browser engines. Feel free to reopen this ticket if the issue persists for you in more recent versions of KDE, v4.7.4 or higher.
