To be clear, this only applies to Region captures?

This bug is still present in KDE 4.2 beta2 (Ksnapshot 0.8.1). It only happens when taking a _zone_ screenshot of a screen with a window (I can't reproduce if only the desktop is shown on the screen). When choosing to take a screenshot of a zone, the a white shape appears on the screen where the Ksnapshot window was located. This white shape is present on the screenshot after saving it.

I confirm this bug with KDE 4.2 / Mandriva 2009. It seems to only happen when taking a zone screenshot.
