Description Hannes H 2008-09-10 16:01:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
OS: FreeBSD
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports

If you double-click a tar[.gz|.bz2] file, go into it and then press Konqueror's Up-Arrow you are returned to the previous folder, but the locationbar still reads tar:/myfolder .
This is a problem when it comes to copy and paste, because one can't paste into tar-files:
"Creating folders is not supported with protocol tar."

This is really annoying for usual workflow which includes go into an archive pressing ctrl-c on the contained directory, pressing up and ctrl-v.

I remember something similar a while back, maybe around KDE3.4, but I didnt report it back then, and it was fixed.
