Description Kristjan Ugrin 2008-09-06 12:54:35 UTC
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Please get back volume values like it was in kmix for kde3.
There were 3 options:
- none
- absolute
- relative

I used relative for precise volume setup - in kmix for kde4 I just see a bunch of lines, but I don't know what values they represent.

I have no time to implement that, but will gratefully accept patches for that feature.

Screen shot of current volume control

KMix now shows volume levels (as a percentage of maximum, but the '%' is implied and not shown) while dragging the slider. See attached screen shot. This is shown for all slider controls, both with the system tray popup and the full mixer window.
