Description Ismael Barros 2008-08-23 08:42:57 UTC
Version:           unknown (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)), Arch Linux)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-ARCH

When I try to switch to another timezone in "System Settings > Time & Date", I'm asked for the root password, but then nothing happens. The timezone is still set to the old one.

If I edit my .kde4/share/config/ktimezonedrc and set the new timezone, then opening System Settings again, the timezone is the correct one, but when loging out and in again, the timezone again set to the old one, both in systemsettings and in ktimezonedrc.

Works here on Debian with KDE 4.1.2, though ~/.kde4/share/config/ktimezonedrc isn't changed.
