Description Carsten Schlipf 2008-07-31 14:46:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It should be possible to align the desktop widgets to a grid, just like it can be done in a vector graphics program.

I have 3 different folder views on the left from top to bottom. It's very hard to arrange them to have exactly the same size and the same distance from each other.

This would be much easier, if there would be an invisible grid, to which the widgets would snap when resizing and moving. A default grid could be 5 pixels for example.

To some this may sound as nitpicking, but the desktop is the "application" I see more often than any other application.
