Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compared to KDE3 KDE4 drastically has reduced usability for power users and movement minimalists. It urgently needs the option to fit for the same wide user base as KDE3 does. For me that means e.g. (re)adding the option to have a user configurable middle mouse button menu for the desktop. I love to handily have all often needed actions and applications just under my cursor without having to wander from one side of the screen to the other and to browse through unnecessarily mouse intensive menus like kickoff. I want to take my personal favorites package with me regardless where on the screen I am (one of the best features KDE3 has). Adding an optional user configurable middle mouse button menu would also enable all RMB desktop context menu haters and minimalists to have the minimalistic RMB menu they want and enable all others to have the frugal context menu they need.
