Description Thomas Weiss 2008-07-16 18:57:10 UTC
Version:           2.0.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Mac OS X (Fink) Packages
OS:                OS X

Hi!
I'd like the very nice autocompletion of citations for the \footcite command aswell. This command is used by jurabib style and some kind of short form for \footnote{\cite[S.15]{Bla1999}.}
So if it's possible to integrate \footcite like \cite Kile would absolutely rule my latexuniverse (Now it only does 99.999999999% ;-))

By the way you folks totaly rock. Kile is the best Latexeditor I've ever used!

Hello,

go to configure kile->latex->general->command setup->commands
and adding footnote to the citation commands should do the trick.

Ok. This does the trick, but... ;-)

When you use \cite or \footcite with argument [] to quote pages (as humanist I do this pretty often) autocompletion doesn't work anymore.

So it would be very nice if I could do the following:

write \footc -> autocomplete, cursor jumps to x (this is possible now): \footcite[x]{} -> write page number \footcite[S.\,42]{} -> hit shortcut, jump to x and autocomplete author: \footcite[S.\,42]{x}

Maybe I want to much, but this would increase my workflow heavily. And as humanist I cite a lot. ;-)

In #179849 I have collected all things which have to be done for biblatex. This would then also add support for your feature request.
