Description Andreas 2008-06-29 11:34:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hi,
I'm using KDE 4.1 beta 2 and I'm very impressed but I have a problem using dolphin.
If I enter my diretory with movie files (over 600 MB each file), dolphin takes about 2 - 5 seconds to "do something" with a selected file (I think it calculates space, gathers information and so on). I can recognize high cpu load of dolphin while this gathering is done.

Is there a way to stop that? I can't use dolphin in directories, where I stored big files, beacuse selecting a file causes extremely high cpu usage and I have an Intel Core 2 Duo mobile which should handle that.
