Basically, the Gwenview from KDE3 had the "next image" and "previous image" buttons embedded in the KPart menu that Konqueror received when GVPart was used to view an image.  The KDE4 version of Gwenview does not provide these, which I find to be somewhat annoying, as I tended to randomly pick image files, open up multiple tabs, and use the aforementioned buttons to scroll until I found a specific image I liked.  Would it be possible, if it hasn't been suggested yet, to bring them back so it is possible to scroll through images in Konqueror using the Gwenview KPart?
