Version: 2.1 (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources in 3.x version, Gwenview part was more completed.I was able to simply browse images like a slideshow by the Next and Prev buttons in the toolbar but in 4.x version there is no Next, Prev button so when im browsing images from Konqueror, I have to press Up/Back to go to folder, select next image, see it, then press Up/Back to go to next image. It would be so nice if new Gwenview produces a more featured part.
Indeed, that's a regression. Will try to have a look.

Is there any news on this? Its just a suggestion, maybe implementation is not too hard, since other buttons from gvpart (like zoom) show up as well. Thanks, michael.

It is not that simple because right now gvpart only cares about the current image (so zoom is simple) but it does not look outside of it: it does not list the image dir. To implement it I need to reuse quite some code from gwenview in gvpart.

It's only been 4 years, and a HUGE regression over Konqueror/Gwenview from KDE3. This is one of my biggest issues with KDE 4. It really is that important. Nautilus is better than dolphin or konqueror in its current state due to the lack of functionality in GVPart. I really would like this kde 3 bit of functionality restored. Even to the extent of helping to restore the functionality myself, how can I help!

There are now next/previous buttons in the default Gwenview toolbar.
