Version: 0.1 (using KDE 4.0.80) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux If you put a CD/DVD containing Data in the drive, it appears in the »Device Notifier«-Applet, together with a »Open with Dolphin«-Link. When you insert an empty disk (CD/DVD) in the Drive, it should show up in the »Device Notifier«-Apple, too. »Open with Dolphin« could be replaced with »Burn with K3B« in this case. Also Audio-CDs should be shown there, with »Play with KsCD« or »Play with $AudioPlayer« or something like that. Thanks in advance, Jan Holthuis
I'm really missing this. It's the great idea. It should also show iPods and all other devices like firewire drives and so.

It would also be good, to show o empty cd drives, o different sessions (if there are multiply sessions on one cd). This is interesting in the case of recent music cds with additional information - audio part - data part I always had trouble accessing the data session of such cd's Regards

Note that for empty CDs/DVDs the upcoming K3B will provide the necessary desktop files (it's already in SVN so this wish could probably be closed).
all the requested desktop files are provided by the respective applications (amarok, kscd, k3b), so this can be closed.
