Version:           1.9.7 (using 3.5.8, Gentoo)
Compiler:          Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-gentoo-r7

It would be nice, if that message wouldn't appear every few seconds, b/c if somebody open - eg preferences - he isn't able to change anything b/c of that nagging error msg popup window.
