Description Sam Grinstead 2008-04-26 21:40:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

When using dolphin, adding the panel "folders" causes dolphin to freeze (but it doesn't exit with an error).

Adding the folders panel to the existing "places" panel so that it's split doesn't immediately freeze dolphin, but scrolling a bit in the view will freeze it again.

Adding the panel from View->Panels->Folders when no other panel is there to split causes dolphin to freeze immediately.

Update:

This problem appears to be related to viewing the system root. When going up two directories from my home, it freezes. However, tying "/" in the location bar shows the directory listing properly.
