Description jos poortvliet 2008-04-20 21:15:35 UTC
Version:           2.1 (using 4.00.70 (KDE 4.0.70 >= 20080418), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc

Hi,

I'd like to request having at least some of the options in the rmb menu back in KDE 4.x. First of because it's really weird there are no options there at all. Highly unusual, as there is a lot you can do with tabs (like sending input to other tabs, I know it's in the menu but just having a 'send input to all other tabs' in there would rock). I miss the monitor options, actually, why not add all options from KDE 3... It's not like it would be too complex, they're just a few (8 in KDE 3.5.9)...

They are in the 'View' menu. 'Send Input To All' has been replaced by 'Copy Input To...' which can be found in the Edit menu.

I know, Robert, I know. But I'm used to doing a right click on an object to perform actions on them - I rarely use the menu's...

So I'm much more comfortable with having a right mouseclick menu, 'new tab' and 'close tab' buttons and the ability to doubleclick the empty space next to a tab to create a new one... Stuff like that.

I would be very happy with these things. Any chance I could persuade you to spend some time on them? Please? I can promise a hug if and when we meet... Or I can promise NOT to hug you, if that's what you prefer ;-)

Wait, did you just silently implement doubleclick=open new tab?!? :D
