Version: 1.2.4 (enterprise 20070904.708012) (using 3.5.7 "release 72.6" , openSUSE 10.3) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.13-0.3-default When sending an email via a mailto: link on a web page, Kmail (either stand-alone or running through Kontact) does not correctly interpret the URL. This can be duplicated by invoking it from the command line. e.g. kmail mailto:webmaster@example.domain.com?subject=Anything In this case only the address is parsed - the subject is ignored. KMail should parse the subject keyword after the '?' and put the value into the subject field. Similarly, any other parameters such as ?body= are also ignored. If gnome is configured to use kmail as the default mail client (to allow Firefox to use Kmail for mailto links when running under KDE), using the default kmail %s fails (%s is the url passed from firefox). Using Kmail -s %s results in the entire URL being put into the subject field.
