Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs
Compiler:          mandriva 2008 free dvd 
OS:                Linux

Don't know how to reproduce it but it happens couple times a day and have to reboot opsys to resolve it.
I just loose the top blue banner and the means to reduce, close or quit from the window, everything else continues to function.
