Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

When I change the icon size in any KDE4 application, quit the app and start it again, the icon size is back to normal again, and my changes are lost.

I'm experiencing this same issue on KDE 4.1 Beta 2 under Kubuntu 8.04, both from the PPA repository and the Neon repository.

I can confirm this too - 4.1. Every KDE4 application seems to be affected.

Update: konqueror does save main toolbar icon size - ktorrent, dolphin doesn't. I haven't checked others.
Something is definitely wrong.

well I don't know. Konqueror 4.1.2 does not save its icon size.

Changing icon size manually in :

.kde/share/apps/konqueror/profiles/webbrowsing

actually works, but it flips back to 22x22 at any change - even locking of the toolbar layout

the top three lines in the profile is :

Height 800=531

that's not right I guess. It should be someting like :

Height=80%
Height=531
