Sorry k.t., I did not read your last comment at 149464 when marking it as duplicate -> I've reopened the bug again as wish!
Peter Penz I believe this is a duplicate of the bug 3212
oh wait. bug 3212 is for konqueror. never mind ...
Yes, bug #3212 is for konqueror, but actually (KDE4) konqueror use the dolphin_part for file management. @Peter: do you agree on setting this bug like a dup of bug #3212 and change the product of bug #3212 from "konqueror" to "dolphin" ?
> @Peter: do you agree on setting this bug like a dup of bug #3212 > and change the product of bug #3212 from "konqueror" to "dolphin" ? Yes, I'm fine with this. Just to stay honest: This would also require changes in kdelibs, as the filtering is done in kdirlister. I personally am not sure whether this will be implemented, as it goes into a direction of general filtering (e. g. the next request might be also to hide e. g. digikams or amaroks configuration files that are part of the directory). But I might be wrong... My message is just: this must be available first in kdelibs before it can be used in Dolphin.
Ok, Thanks Peter. For keeping b.g.o ordered, I'll set this as dup, and I'll change bug #3212 from konqueror to kdelibs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 3212 ***
