Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux noscript is a firefox extension which disables javascript. http://noscript.net/ konqueror already has it's functionality built in but not it's ease of use. I would like to see statusbar controls added to konqueror for easy disable, enable, javascript for domain/globably etc like noscript does for firefox. so I don't have to go in and add each domain. this would make disabling javascript (and perhaps could be applied to things like java as well) easier, which would enhance both usability and security.
Konqueror has this functionality built in, but it doesn't work. You can't disallow javasctipt globally and permit to only some sites, there is a bug report filled somewhere here. Anyway This would be great to have easy javascript permissions changing.
functionally it seems to work for me. I just want easy click allow user controls rather than opening settings all the time.
I've voted for this wish, i'd really really want to see a better javascript (and others, like java, flash, silverlight, and so on) control, which permits to activate them temporary/forever on given site/host. As NoScript does... This would surely get me to switch from firefox to konqueror :)

This is a similar request: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120147 Also managing Cookies, Java and Plugins are not easy to use. Firefox e.g. got plugins like CookieSafe and FlashBlock for that, which are also much more usable.
