Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux Occasionally an imap (never disconnected imap iirc) folder suddenly decides to trash all locally stored data and reloads the folder contents from the server. This in itself is merely a nuisance (4000 mails load quite quickly over broadband), but together with #130773 and #79242 is extremely annoying for mailing list folders, where it costs me quite some time until all the ignored but still live threads are ignored again. It seems to happen most often when I'm quickly reading through my email and open a folder while some other action might just be finishing, so it seems to be a timing issue to me. Operating kmail more slowly seems to avoid triggering this (... but I don't always remember doing that...)
Update: With kmail 1.9.9, it seems that kmail doesn't store ignored state at all anymre. Server: dovecot with (unfortunate, I know) mbox storage.
