Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Reported in Debian BTS at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=448528 I used Korganizer with an "imap ressource" calendar. It worked fine with 3.5.7, but the latest upgrade broke it. The calendar is blank (no date, nothing), and trying to add an event raises an error : No writable resource was found, saving will not be possible. Reconfigure KMail first. Downgrading to 4:3.5.7-4 solved the issue.
Same here on FreeBSD 6.2-Release
same here with kdemod 3.5.8 on archlinux. its not just the organizer but all imap based resources (contacts, todo, etc).
Confirmed here too on Debian.
Adding "TheIMAPResourceAccount=1709087027" to kmailrc solved the problem for me. So, in kmailrc the entry for the imap resource is here: [IMAP Resource] TheIMAPResourceAccount=1462687224 TheIMAPResourceEnabled=true TheIMAPResourceFolderLanguage=1 TheIMAPResourceFolderParent=1462687224 I'm running FreeBSD 6.2-Release Read discussion here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/139433
Confirmed for me too. I still think this is a bug that needs fixing, this issue should not be in KDE4. I went from: [IMAP Resource] TheIMAPResourceEnabled=true TheIMAPResourceFolderParent=.360482238.directory/INBOX to: [IMAP Resource] TheIMAPResourceAccount=360482238 TheIMAPResourceEnabled=true TheIMAPResourceFolderParent=.360482238.directory/INBOX
