Description Samuel Suther 2007-10-31 14:04:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It would be great if digikam get the following new Features:

In digikam its possible to create many directorys for mannaging and sorting Images.
E.g: Family, Pets, Nature etc.

Wish:
If the Images are burned on CD / DVD, there should be a option, where the user can insert the Name and Number of the Archiv-CD /DVD. The Tumbs of the archived Images schould be stored on Harddrive.

If the use want to open an archived Image by clicking on the Thumb, there should be a Message like: Please insert CD "xyz 123" to open this Image.

So digikam would be a big, great Programm to manage archived Images too.

What do you think about it?

Best regards
    Samuel Suther
