Description john Nelson 2007-10-26 22:02:20 UTC
Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I get this on exit on dolphin

Unable to save bookmarks in /home/jack/.kde/share/apps/d3lphin/bookmarks.xml. Reported error was: Permission denied. This error message will only be shown once. The cause of the error needs to be fixed as quickly as possible, which is most likely a full hard drive.

I get the error message everytime i close dolphin. I have 142Gb so this is probably a bug. I am running kubuntu 7.10 Gutsy

Thanks for the bug-report! I know it has not been communicated very well, but bugs.kde.org for Dolphin is only valid for the KDE 4 version of Dolphin, the KDE 3 version is not maintained anymore (see also http://enzosworld.gmxhome.de/download.html section "Dolphin 0.8.2 (KDE 3.5.5)" for more infos).

This issue has been fixed in the KDE 4 version of Dolphin. You can bypass this issue for your KDE 3 version of Dolphin by having a look at the thread: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150769

alright then thanks. I will just use Konqueror until kde4 and dolphin4 is in kubuntu =)
