Description Achim Bohnet 2007-06-15 10:48:17 UTC
Version: 1.0.1 (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.7-0ubuntu1~feisty2)

Hi,
for general help channels I'm interested to get a notification
for certain apps or topics. Like e.g. digikam|bluetooth|cluster|kubuntu|...

Unfortunately these notification do 'spoil' channels dedicated
to the app or topic, e.g. #digikam, #kdebluetooth, #kubuntu-devel
with useless notification. I'm interested in 'kubuntu' in #digikam
and in 'digikam' in #kubuntu. But matching 'digikam' in #digikam,
ditto for kubuntu etc makes these notification useless.
notifications.

Turning off notification for all dedicated channels is not an
options, because I would like to get notifications about, e.g.
'media' in the #digikam channel.

Two solution come to my mind:

o Simple one: add option to 'ignore notification if channel name
matches the matching part of the regex too'

o general one: add a 'channels' column to regex, highlight, sound.
  E.g. #*-devel,!#bar*'
