Description W. Alexander Walkenhorst 2007-05-26 11:29:03 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.3 (not installed)
OS: Linux

I Use Kontact for my adresses and it used to work fine until I reinstalled my Treo650 last week. I made a complete backup to my notebook. First hand I had problems with the notes conduit wich I dectivated. Backing up ran fine. After I resetted the palm and tried to synchronize the contacts back to the palm the abbrowser conduit crashes. And it seems the link between kpilot adresses and the kontact adresses seems to be lost. But I never checked how it looked like when the conduit worked. I've now updated to 3.5.7 but it still doesen't work.

Comment 1 Robert W. 2007-10-15 17:19:17 UTC
Qt: 3.3.8
KDE: 3.5.7
KPilot: 4.9.1 (rabid dolphin)
gcc (GCC): 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.0.2)
Linux: 2.6.23.1-2 i686

Same behaviour here with Sony Clié NR70V and using visor.ko. conduit crashes consistently when syncing addressbook.
Comment 2 Josepmaria Argemi 2007-11-21 15:22:12 UTC
I have too problems with sync my palm. The program crashes when it's sync addressbook. It don't happen when i sync other features, without addressbook.
Perhaps the problem is that i've modified some address on my pilot and on my pc, after the last sync.

Hi guys. We have changed this drastically since KDE3's KPilot. This should be addressed now. If you can still reproduce this in the version of KPilot from KDE 4.2, please reopen this and add (as attachments) the output of "kpilotDaemon --debug=9" as well as the full backtrace.

Thank you for the bug report!! Also, I'd really appreciate your help in testing out KPilot from the really-soon-to-be-released KDE 4.2!!! =:)
