Version: 3.4.0.1 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.1) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.13-4-smp When I start KDevelop and open an existing project, the "Main Toolbar (KDevelop)" contains 19 icons: Open Project, Goto Last Edit Position, Back, Forward, New, Save As..., Save, Print..., Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Find..., Full Screen Mode, Enlarge Font, Shrink Font, Read Only Mode, What's This? When I open a file or switch to another file which is already open (e.g. by clicking on the file tab), some toolbar icons start rotating - to the left. This happens six times. From then on, with each file switch, some icons rotate and one icon disappears! This is repeated until the 18th step, when only 8 icons are left, being: Open Project, Goto Last Edit Position, Back, Forward, New, Full Screen Mode, What's This?, Read Only Mode. This is a nasty thing, since after working some time, the Save button, which I need often, is always disappeared! However, I discovered that the Toolbar can be restored to its original state by using "Configure Toolbars... - Main Toolbar (KDevelop) - edit something (and undo) - Apply/OK". I will try to attach a PDF in which you can see the sequence of rotation.

I think this is a KDE problem, I heard of it before, but not in the last months. Can you please update to a newer KDE release?
I have updated KDE to version 3.5.6 now; problem still exists!
Yeah, this happens. It's a KDE bug, it's been there for years and I very much doubt we'll see it fixed in KDE3. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 118722 ***
Yes, you are right. I could reproduce the problem with Kate as well.
