Description Hans Lombard 2007-04-10 11:17:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Processor: Intel Core2 CPU 6600 @2.40 GHz, Memory 1 003.93 MB, Free memory 212.69 MB, OS Linux 2.6.18.2-34-deafault x86_64, OPENSUSE 10.2

ADSL network connection on Windows-XP machine, 8-port switch running 10/100 Ethernet network via eth0. KNetworkmanager disconnects periodically - apparently for no reason. Clicking on the icon in the system tray I can usually get it to re-connect.

The crash occurred when I tried to download updates via the 'Online Update Configuration'

Please paste backtrace after you are updated your distribution and reproduced the crash.
Comment 2 Gary C 2007-06-05 03:26:47 UTC
I also have this problem, and ran a back trace. I installed openSUSE 10.2 from CD and then ran the updates from the repos, which is when the problem started.

I tried re-installing Network Manager to no avail.

Looks like I'm seeing the same problem. Problem started after recent KDE update from Suse repo.
