Description Rory Curtis 2007-02-12 19:01:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc version 4.0.3
OS: Linux

I can't copy/move files to root folders when Konqueror is running under a user account. For example, I'd like to be able to copy a file from my home directory and put it in /usr/local. Konqueror shows an "Access Denied" dialog. I propose it should show a password dialog and prompt me for the root password. That password should be valid for a certain time period, much the same as Konsole when I sudo.

I understand I can run Konqueror as super user but typically, I don't want to start as super user just to move one file/folder.
