It's a fact that most KDE users use at least one or more Gtk applications. Unfortunately when you change your fonts settings, this only affects KDE and Qt applications. Adjusting the .gtkrc-2.0 configuration file accordingly and automatically would have Gtk and Qt applications to have the same fonts settings and to have a more consistent desktop.
