Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-3ubuntu9) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-2-386 How to Reproduce: 1. open kwrite (or any application which can save a file) 2. type some text 3. goto file->save as 4. type a name say "test.txt" 5. click on "Sidebar Desktop" or on the "Desktop" folder in the view 6. now you have entered the Desktop (in the file save dialog) 7. click on "Back" <- button on the toolbar or HOME button on the sidebar (one level up) 8. click "OK" to save 9. you'll get "A file named "Desktop" already exists. Are you sure you want to overwrite it?" The previous sub-folder we selected remains selected hence causes the problem. going one level up tries to overwrite the sub-folder (previous). thanks.
This is very annoying indeed, and might make the user loose a lot of data.
