Description Caleb Cushing 2006-12-08 21:42:43 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: 4.1
OS: Linux

apparently our server doesn't want me to use tls anymore. that's an internal matter though, currently unexplained. the problem with kmail is this.

"server does not support tls, please disable......"

then it gives me a login prompt. I put correct user name and password in or click cancel or close then...

it never ends how am I supposed to be able to change the settings if I can't get out of the loop to edit the settings.

Yeah, but it doesn't really matter. I marked this one as a duplicate because the other report seems to contain more information.
